Ted moved to Bethesda Barclay House<\/a> in 2018, drawn by the warm, welcoming community. \u201cPeople ask why I chose to live here,\u201d he says. \u201cThe answer is simple: the people. Everyone here is incredibly friendly.\u201d<\/p>\n Since arriving, Ted has embraced the vibrant social life<\/a> at Bethesda Barclay House. Whether he\u2019s attending an art workshop, joining a fitness class or enjoying steak-and-whiskey nights with friends, Ted\u2019s infectious energy has made him a beloved part of the community. But his impact extends far beyond social gatherings.<\/p>\n Ted met with Linda Sanders, Bethesda\u2019s Corporate Vice President and Director of Development, to discuss Bethesda\u2019s Humanitarian Care program<\/a>. This program provides assistance to residents facing financial hardships, ensuring they can stay in their homes.<\/p>\n \u201cBethesda\u2019s philosophy is that once you move in, you\u2019re part of the family,\u201d Ted says. \u201cI want to make sure finances don\u2019t stand in the way of that\u2014I want people to stay part of the family.\u201d<\/p>\n With thoughtful planning, Ted named Bethesda as the beneficiary of two IRA accounts, creating The Ted Stein Humanitarian Care Fund for Bethesda Barclay House.
